The auspicious animals in our country are lions except dragons and phoenixes. The dragons and phoenixes in our country are idealized animals in our country. They do not exist on the earth. They only synthesize the characteristics of various animals. The lion, however, is a real beast in the world. Although it does not live on the land of our country, it has become an important element of traditional Chinese civilization. To know the reason, we must start with the animal habits and regional environment of the lion. According to zoology, lions in nature are carnivorous vertebrates of higher rank, leopards and cats. The body shape and appearance of the female lion and the male lion are completely different, as long as the male lion has long neck and long hair. They live in desert forests in Africa, South America, West Asia and India. Strong in body and strong in temper, it is known as the "King of Beasts" of Western Animal International. In fact, the lion has the characteristics of Supreme invincibility. Its bold steps and invincible courage never know what to avoid. So in foreign wildlife parks, bossy lions often collide with managers'cars. No civilized art is a water without a source and a wood without a root. When our ancestors did not directly or directly see and hear the image of lion, in the origin of lion, there was the lion civilization of Western ancestors. For example, India, Egypt, Greece and so on also have twelve zodiac signs, but there are lions instead of mountain monarchs; the guardian God of Venice is the lion. In primitive Egypt, five thousand years ago, when temples were imported, huge stone sphinxes were used as guards, called Sphinx. There are also "King Amenemut" sleeping portraits with the body of a lion and the face of an ancient Egyptian king, and "Shockmitt" with the head of a lion and the body of a plump woman. These civilized heritages are fairly mythical, but they all depict lions in a realistic way. Lion-free China has also produced its own lion civilization, which is compatible with China's long-standing imperial supremacy social structure and the national consciousness of polytheism. But what attracts people's attention is that even if the social structure changes, people are liberated from imperial and theocracy, and the cultural worship of dragon, Phoenix and lion is not weakened, even in modern society, the lion folk civilization is still so rich and gorgeous. It can be seen that the lion civilization of our country has already been deeply rooted in the paste soil of national and regional civilization. In the national civilization of our country, the copper lion has always been the symbol of keeping people lucky and safe. It is fearful of the cold weather in the north, down-to-earth, always accompanied by you faithfully; it is noble, dignified, with great Royal manners; it is majestic, auspicious, is regarded as the treasure of protecting the country and the town. Folk legends and forms about copper lions can be said to be endless, but they are closely linked with auspiciousness and festivity. In ancient towns in the mainland, there are such well-known ballads: "Touch the head of the lion, do not worry for life; Touch the back of the lion, live for generations; Touch the mouth of the lion, husband and wife do not quarrel; Touch the lion, never sick, from head to tail, financial resources come in like running water." This shows that the meaning of copper lion is lucky. |
